Square Communion White Oak Bowl

I made this bowl from start to finish, with cutting up a fallen white oak tree, rough-turning it with a lathe, drying it out over a year, finish-turning it with a lathe, putting in a mulberry bowtie inlay to secure the larger crack, laser-engraving the bottom of the bowl, and finally sealing it with organic coconut oil and locally-made beeswax.

The mantra engraved on the bottom of the bowl is the well-known Great Mani mantra: om manipadme hum. Read more about this mantra here

3 5/8" tall; 12" from corner to corner

You can purchase this bowl with or without a Golden Fire tensor ring (8 gauge copper wire). This large square bowl will work great to hold items on your coffee table, nightstand or altar.
