Guru Oṃ | Mantra Oracle Art Print
Guru Oṃ
Guru, a wise elder, sits in the center of the card in a very relaxed position meant to depict the state of peace and bliss that he lives in. He is open and welcoming. At his base is the moth, a symbol of wisdom. Below him an ocean sprawls to the bottom of the scene. To his sides and rising above him are mountains that soar on the edge of the ocean. Depicted on opposite posts to the sides of the Guru are the Raven and the White Hawk. Raven is symbolic of the void, of the rich darkness, where we are taught how to go into the dark to bring forth the light. The Hawk represents one's life purpose. The Hawk allows us to soar higher and use keen perception to manifest soul purpose. Soul purpose is further linked to why we seek out Guru, or guidance. The Hawk is white, balancing black Raven. Finally above the mountains hover two spheres: one white and one black. They meet and mingle in the center above the Guru's head in a vesica piscis, meant to symbolize the ability to draw light from the dark and to recognize the essential purpose of the darkness in our journey to enlightenment.
9"x12" print placed in a gold 12"x16" frame with a bevel-cut mat board.
Envisioned by Jason Adams, the Mantra Oracle collection is a collaboration of artist Lindsay Carron and Adams. As a mantra meditation teacher, Adams created a series of artwork prints to bring the energies of a number of Sanskrit mantras to life. By infusing each oracle card/artwork with the energies of each mantra, they have created an enlivened collection of divination cards and paintings. Each print is produced with the highest quality, to resemble the original artwork with spectacularly vivid clarity and color. Each print is produced with high quality archival inks on archival paper with a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4100 Large Format Printer.
