Oṃ Manipadme Hūṃ

Om Mani Padme Hum features Avalokitesvara pictured with six arms, as the six syllables he represents (Sadaksari). Between his prayer hands at the center of the chest is the lotus with the jewel of consciousness at its center. The way he is drawn also invokes the energy of Kuan Yin: compassion. Around him is a mandala of intricacy and gold and the colors of the background liken to the traditional thangka textures. He has multiple faces/heads here, representing the story in which his head splits with the focus of freeing all humanity from samsara, and in a gesture to his generosity, he is granted multiple heads by Amitabha. His gaze is directed down on the world, on the plight of the humans, in compassion. The "lord who gazes down at the world" and "the eye of compassion." Around him grow lotuses, some only buds, representing the hope and possibility of his kindness growing new seed in the hearts of humanity. Behind the lotuses rise the triumphant Himalayas. At the center below Avalokitesvara is the figure eight, the infinity symbol. Here, it represents perfectly the heart and mind connection, with the throat being the point in the center/the gateway as our consciousness rises from the heart into the upper chakras.
"Om Mani" - Mind
"Padme" - Heart
"Hum" - Throat
So the energy of this mantra connects the head and the heart, by way of the throat chakra. This concept represented in the figure 8 infinity symbol in the artwork.

9"x12" print placed in a gold 12"x16" frame with a bevel-cut mat board.

Envisioned by Jason Adams, the Mantra Oracle collection is a collaboration of artist Lindsay Carron and Adams. As a mantra meditation teacher, Adams created a series of artwork prints to bring the energies of a number of Sanskrit mantras to life. By infusing each oracle card/artwork with the energies of each mantra, they have created an enlivened collection of divination cards and paintings. Each print is produced with the highest quality, to resemble the original artwork with spectacularly vivid clarity and color. Each print is produced with high quality archival inks on archival paper with a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4100 Large Format Printer.
